5 Deep with Jordan Moore

We were able to catch up with Duke wide receiver (we think that’s what we call him now) Jordan Moore. Moore has a touchdown reception in each of Duke’s 3 wins so far this season.

DFBT: You’ve had a touchdown in each of the first 3 games, and it may be time to organize a touchdown celebration. What would your ideal touchdown celebration dance look like?

JORDAN: To be honest, right now I don’t know. But I’m going to have to get with Eli (Pancol) this week to discuss what it could be because you know he likes to dance. It would be a group celebration; I always want to celebrate as a group.

DFBT: If you were not pursuing a future in football right now, what would you be pursuing a future in?

JORDAN: I think it would be something in the business field. I like working with numbers. I like leading and managing people and ideas so I feel like that would be it.

DFBT: What’s your all-time favorite movie and why?

JORDAN: My all-time favorite movie is Scarface. Why? Number one, because it’s a great movie. But also I wasn’t allowed to watch it when I was younger, so I kinda like watched it when my parents weren’t home. And it’s very violent, so I wasn’t used to seeing all that.

DFBT: If you could have a meal with a famous person, who would it be and why?

JORDAN: If I could have a meal with a famous person, I would say Barack Obama. Actually Tiger Woods too. Those two are very prominent African-American figures that changed things. Barack Obama changed the world by being the first African-American President, and Tiger Woods changed the game of golf. He is like the Michael Jordan of golf. Golf is predominantly white sport, so it’s cool to look up to someone who looks like me.

DFBT: Now that you’re experiencing the game at WR, who do you think the best WR in the NFL is currently?

JORDAN: That is tough. I think the best wide receiver would be between Keenan Allen and Davonte Adams. (But did you see Stefon Diggs on Monday Night Football?) Yeah, he’s from Maryland. He’s a very good player.

BONUS QUESTION:

DFBT: Who was your favorite Baltimore Oriole growing up?

JORDAN: It would have to be Manny Machado. I didn’t go to many games, but we got to Camden Yards a few times, and I always had a good time.
